Approach
We build, acquire and operate software — for the long term.
Antypas Ventures is an operating company. It does not back other people’s businesses; it owns its platforms outright and runs them itself. Five ideas shape how it works.
Build
We design, develop and run our own software. The people who ship a platform are the people accountable for it after launch.
Acquire
We buy software businesses when we can be their long-term operator — taking over development, infrastructure and support, and keeping the product’s own name and customers.
Operate
We favour durable products over short-lived experiments. A platform is launched when it can be relied on, and is then maintained, not left to drift.
Independence
Each platform is built to stand on its own: its own brand, its own market, and its own systems and data rather than ones shared with its siblings.
Security
Security, privacy and operational discipline are part of how a product is built and run, from the first version onward — not a step added before launch.
In practice
Four things that are true of everything we own.
- Built and operated in-house
- Each platform is developed, run and supported by the company that owns it. Nothing core is outsourced, so the people who ship the software are the people accountable for it.
- Compliance designed in
- Regulatory requirements are treated as product constraints from the first commit, not as a policy page added before launch. In the categories we work in, that is the difference between a product and a liability.
- Least data, least surface
- Systems are built to hold as little as they can and expose no more than they must. Data that is never collected cannot be leaked, and a smaller surface is a smaller problem.
- Independent brands
- Every platform stands on its own name, in its own market, with its own standard to meet. The parent company stays deliberately out of the way.
